Academic Stuff

My work experience spans the physical, medium access, and networking layers.   Expertise in core areas relevant to advanced communications system design, such as Link- & System-level Simulations, Graph Theory, Signal Processing Techniques, Radio Resource Management, Radio Propagation, Industrial Networking and Standardization. Interacting with academic colleagues to obtain funding and establish collaborations is also part of my responsibilities.

Industry 4.0, Cyberphysical Systems (Mining), Wireless Connectivity (5G/4G), Radio Propagation, Cybersecurity in Operational Environments, Through-the-Earth Communications, Digital Signal Processing, and a growing interest in Free-Space Optical Communications (FSO).
